<p>A pneumatic dilator of the esophagus comprises an inflatable chamber (1) provided with an air conducting tube (5) and embracing a bushing (2) made of a rigid material. The dilator is used in combination with an endoscope (3) which is passed through said bushing (2), the internal surface of the bushing (2) being made smooth for that purpose and the endoscope (3) being provided with a stop (4) for limiting the movement of the bushing (1) along it.</p> |
