摘要 The dynamic- and static conditions in each cylinder are monitored at different points of the working cycle. The measured values are stored and used to compare with subsequent values. This enables the processor control to determine dynamic changes without having to run over several cycles. The processor response is thus rapid w.r.t. performance and emission control. - One processor stage determines the actual points in the working cycle and other stages monitor the engine torque firing angle, input air flow, input fuel flow etc. The actual rate of change of engine speed is determined within the working cycle to compute the actual rate of change of the throttle valve and the ignition etc.
