Laterally displaceable tread plate assembly for side release bindings - has freely rotating support rollers on rolling plate without precision bearing

The tread plate (12) which supports the ski boot (11) from below has a lower flat rolling face (12'') which is mounted at the top on the circumferential surface of adjoining support rollers (15) which roll freely sideways in the transverse direction on the ski surface or on a rolling plate (14) fixed thereon. The support rollers are pref. mounted rotatable at a preset lateral spacing in a rolling cage (16) which is laterally displaceable relative to the rolling plate (14) and tread plate (12). ADVANTAGE - A precision rotary bearing for the support rollers is no longer required whilst the free rotation of the support rollers is not impaired even by bad weather conditfons.
