<p>A method for repair and maintenance of system parts in a nuclear reactor which are contacted by process medium, in which a joint (5) or the like is arranged around a system part. The joint (5) is made completely or partially of memory metal. The memory metal part is deformed at a temperature below the transient temperature into such a shape as to enable it to be fitted over or inserted into a part. During the subsequent heating, the memory metal resumes its original shape and a tight joint is achieved.</p> |
