PURPOSE:To reduce a loading time by previously reading the frequently used nonresident section of a program in the storing area of a memory from a disk when the program is started and executing the nonresident section as required by transferring the section from the storing area to an executing area. CONSTITUTION:When a program is executed at the time of starting the program, the resident section of the program is executed in the program executing area of a memory 1. The frequently used nonresident section of the program is stored in the area of the memory 1 different from the executing area and a table having flags indicating whether the storing address, size of the nonresident section, and resident section are stored in the memory 1 or a disk 3 is prepared. Therefore, when the nonresident section of the program being executed is required, the nonresident section can be loaded onto the program executing area from the memory 1 and the loading time can be reduced.
