The motor is assembled in halves (A, B) with the forward housing constituting a permanent-magnet stator with pole pieces (2, 3). A permanent magnet (6) is centred rotatably so that its south-seeking pole is opposite that of the stator. The rearward housing comprises another stator (1) with pole pieces (2, 3). The magnetic shielding (5) is formed from iron segments (4) on a hollow cylinder of brass, the segments being positioned so as to constitute a closed magnetic circuit with those of the other half. Both magnets (6) execute 180 deg. rotations. ADVANTAGE - Motor functions without electric power supply.
