<p>A wand (3), comprising a first hollow longitudinally extending cylindrical member, is removably connectable to a handle (1), which also comprises a hollow longitudinally extending cylindrical housing member. An insulatingly covered heating element extends into the wand (3) and has input terminals at the handle end of the wand (3). A space within the handle (1) receives at least one battery for providing electrical power, and output terminals are provided at the wand end of the handle (1). A switch (5), mounted on the handle (1), connects the battery to the output terminals. When the wand (3) is connected to the handle (1), the input terminals are in contact with the output terminals so that electrical heating power is provided to the heating element from the battery through the switch (5).</p> |
