PURPOSE:To enable an air suspension system to provide a freely adjustable ride by varying at will dynamic spring constant without varying the total height or position of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A body 11 supported elastically is held by two upper and lower air bellows 2a, 2b. The bellows 2b tends to push up the body 11 even when the internal pressure in both air bellows is varied. Downward press force acts on the bellows 2a so that the height and position of the body 11 is not varied. The internal pressure in the bellows 2a, 2b is adjusted by an air pressure adjusting valve controlled by a microcomputer according to various requirements. Comfort ride can be adjusted freely and automatically by said operation. |
