PURPOSE:To obtain easily and economically an excellent surface and external appearance, by a method wherein a metallic netlike core premolded into a fixed form is held within mold into which a monomer or prepolymer mixed stock solution whose viscosity and a reaction rate are regulated respectively low and slow to the utmost is cast at a slow rate for cure. CONSTITUTION:A premolded wire-netlike core 8 is set up within a lower mold 7 with an appropriate device such as a magnet M or a stationary pin. A monomer or prepolymer mixed stock solution consisting basically of a low-molecular- weight polyol or polyamine and isocyanate where viscosity and a reaction rate are regulated respectively low and slow to the utmost, that is what is called RIM molding stock solution P1 is cast through a casting port 1 at a slow rate for cure. With this construction, a molded product having a beautiful facial external appearance can be obtained. |
