PURPOSE:To obtain a picture book of sound with which the name of an animal is decided from the sound that the animal makes by deciding the animal from the electric signal of the sound of the animal which is converted by a sound input device and displaying the name of the animal. CONSTITUTION:The sound made by the animal 1 is inputted to a DFT computer 5 through a microphone 2 and an A/D converter 4 and the DFT computer 5 performs discrete Fourier transformation(DFT) and then inputs its frequency spectrum to a comparator 6. The comparator 6 compares this frequency spectrum with standard spectrum data on a standard sound data memory 7 that various animals make to select data close to the frequency spectrum. Then its number is inputted as the decision result of a sound decision device 8 to the speech synthesizer 9 of a name display device 13 and analog speech data on the name of the animal 1 is outputted in voice from a speaker 12. Consequently, the name of an animal can be known only by inputting the sound made by the animal. |
