<p>The apparatus is intended for cutting slices from a piece of cold meat or the like; it is of very simple design and handling, thus making its domestic use possible. It is constituted by a base (4), on which a guide rail (45) makes possible the rectilinear movement of a movable cutter (7), the cutting edge (72a) of which forms an appropriate angle with the base in order that the cut is made by scissor effect, by a fixed support (43), on which the piece to be sliced (8) comes to rest, and by a stop (6) for control of the thickness of the slices, which is retracted when the blade (72) advances. By means of a reversed arrangement of the various constituent elements, it is possible to propose a version of the apparatus for left-handed persons. <IMAGE></p> |
