PURPOSE:To selectively perform room cooling and heating by providing pressure reducing means freely capable of reducing from a no pressure loss state to a predetermined pressure from an outdoor unit connector of a first connection tube to a connector with a third connection tube arranged with a second flowrate controller on the way there between. CONSTITUTION:One of indoor units 9a - 9c is connected to be switched to first, second connection tubes 13, 14 for connecting an outdoor unit 1 to a plurality of indoor units 9a - 9c, the other first flowrate controller 21 side is connected to a first connection tube 13 via a third connection tube 22, and the units 9a - 9c are simultaneously selected for room cooling or heating. Pressure reducing means is composed of a switching valve 30, a pressure reducing unit 32 provided at a bypass tube 31 at the tube 13. If the whole is operated in room cooling, condensed and liquefied refrigerant from an outdoor heat exchanger 4 is reduced to a gas and liquid two state via the unit 32 of the bypass tube, and the refrigerant amount in the tube is reduced. The valve 30 is opened except the room cooling so that no pressure loss occurs. Thus, room cooling or heating is selectively performed simultaneously at the respective indoor units, and filling refrigerant amount can be reduced. |
