PURPOSE:To save power by arranging one end of optical fiber on an indication board to display characters and figures while by converging the other end to LED, and arranging another LED on the rear of the indication board, and then by putting on these LEDs with one power source. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery 1 converts light energy received in the day time into electric energy to store it in a storage battery. Optical fibers 7 are converged in front of LED 6 while its one end is arranged on an indication board 4 to display characters 8, and light is emitted from an end face 9 of optical fibers when the LED 6 is put on. Another diode 6a is provided on the rear of the indication board 4, and in the vicinity thereof and at the front thereof, a reflection board 10 and light diffusing board 11 are respectively set, thereby the light of diode 6a is broadly reflected and radiated to the indication board 4. These LED 6, 6a are driven by one power source 2. A light sensor 3 detects the illuminance around the indication board 4 when there is a difference in illuminance between the circumferences of the solar battery 1 and the indication board 4. It is thus possible to perform the effective lighting of indication board 4 with saving of power. |
