PURPOSE:To surely take out the ovary of a fish without relating to the size of the fish body and further without injuring the ovary by cutting the head of the fish body while applying an abdominal pressure by an abdominal pressure means. CONSTITUTION:The head Fd of a fish body F carried in a state wherein the abdomen of the fish body is directed on the downstream side of the carrying direction R is cut by a cutting means 34 to take out an ovary Fa in the abdominal cavity of the fish body F. Therein, the abdomen near the pectoral fin Fc of the fish body F is pressed with an abdominal pressing 31 disposed on the upstream side of the carrying means R in relation to the cutting means 34 to transfer the ovary Fa on the tail side in the abdominal cavity. Since the head portion Fd of the fish body F is cut while the abdominal pressure is applied by the abdominal pressing means 31, the ovary can be surely taken out without relating to the size of the fish body F and further without injuring the ovary. |
