STATE CHECK SYSTEM FOR EXCHANGE NETWORK BY ANALYSIS OF TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION TIME OF PLURAL SIGNALS

PURPOSE:To discriminate the congestion or an abnormality of a packet exchange station by allowing a network management center to record a reception time of a congestion check request signal onto a time table and using a time analyzer to obtain a difference at each time and analyzing the difference. CONSTITUTION:A network management center 10 uses a congestion state check signal transmission/reception section 12 to send plural congestion check notice command signals to a packet exchange station 20 at a prescribed interval. The exchange station 20 receives the signal at a signal reception processing section 22 and a time addition processing section 60 applies the processing adding a time receiving a request signal and a time sending a reply signal to the center 10 to the reply signal and a signal transmission processing section 21 sends the result to the center 10. The center 10 stores the time when an exchange station 20 receives a reception signal, a time when the reply signal is sent, a time when the reply signal is sent and a time when the reply signal is received onto a time table. Then a time analyzer 11 obtains a difference of each time to analyze the state of the difference.
