PURPOSE:To prevent a deterioration in the characteristics of an electrophotographic receptor due to fatigue caused by pre-exposure and to stabilize the repetitive characteristics by treating the photoconductor-resin dispersion system photoconductive layer of the receptor with a hexafluorosilicate soln. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductor-resin dispersion system photoconductive layer of an electrophotographic recetor having the layer on the electrically conductive support is treated with a soln. of hexafluorosilicate and its hydrate by coating with the soln. over a fixed time or dipping in the soln. As a result, even the photoconductor-resin dispersion type electrophotographic receptor undergoes hardly a deterioration in the electrophotographic characteristics, such as a reduction in the charging potential by pre-exposure, the repetitive characteristics are enhanced, and this receptor is provided with favorable characteristics as an electrophotographic receptor for copying on common paper. |
