<p>Lube oil for (sealed) refrigerator compressors is a low polymer of formula CnH2n derived from a linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbon, esp. where n is 10-30. Claimed is a propylene oligomer having 20-26 C atoms. The oligomers reduce corrosion in halogenated refrigerants, as they take up acid decomposition products.</p> |
