<p>The flexible flat element is treated with a heat sensitive adhesive on one side in discontinuous linear zones, and are for reinforcing clothing e.g. jacket fronts. The method allows variation in the amt of adhesive and adjustment so that appearance is not spoiled but firm adhesion secured. The adhesive is applied to one side of the reinforcement which may be of fabric, according to a variety of patterns of lines, dots, half rings, or wavy lines which are discontinuous, according to the amt of adhesive required.</p> |
