PURPOSE:To simply and advantageously obtain a multi-layer material without admixing layers by blending an aqueous solution of gelatinizing substance with an aqueous solution of a mixture of xanthan gum and guar gum and cooling. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution of a polymer polysaccharide such as agar or gelatin gelatinizing or thickening by cooling is heated and maintained at >=the gelatinizing temperature. Separately, an aqueous solution of a mixture of xanthan gum and guar gum is heated and maintained warm is added to the aqueous solution of the gelatinizing substance. |
