PURPOSE:To prevent unsatisfactory airtightness or leakage and to improve productivity by fixing a nonwoven fabric made of resin having the acid resistance and thermal welding property on the inner face of an outer body, and thermally welding a frame and the nonwoven fabric and the outer body. CONSTITUTION:An outer body 2 is laminated with resin having the thermal welding property on the inner face, and a nonwoven fabric 3 made of resin fibers having the thermal welding property and acid resistance such as polyethylene or polypropylene is heated and thermally welded and fixed on the laminated face from the outer body side. An electrode plate group 4 consisting of positive and negative electrode plates and a main separator is stored in a frame 1 made of the resin which can be thermally welded together with the resin laminated on the nonwoven fabric 3 and the inner face of the outer body 2, e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene, and the resin laminated on the inner face of the outer body 2, the nonwoven fabric 3, and the frame 1 are thermally welded together and sealed. |
