NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the battery capacity and improve the cycle characteristic by containing LiMn2O4 or LiMnCr2O4 in a positive electrode active material using manganese dioxide as the main component. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of MnO2 and LiMnO4 or LiCrO4 is heat-treated at 300-500 deg.C to obtain a positive electrode material. The used quantity of LiMnO4 or LiCrO4 is 10-70wt.% against MnO2. Li or an Li alloy is used for a negative electrode active material.
