PURPOSE:To effectively utilize energy and improve the power generating efficiency by providing a steam generator which generates steam by heating water by the combustion of a burner burning residual oxygen gas and residual fuel gas and a turbine which is driven by steam and rotates a power generator. CONSTITUTION:Residual oxygen gas and residual fuel gas are contained in gases discharged through gas outflow ports 9 and 10 respectively, the residual oxygen gas and residual fuel gas are fed to a gas burner 11, and they are reacted together here to cause combustion. Water is heated in a steam generator 12 by this combustion heat to generate steam. This steam is fed to a turbine 15 through a steam passage 14 to drive the turbine 15, and a power generator 16 is rotated accordingly for power generation. In this power generating facility, not only power generation is performed by a fuel cell 1, but also the residual oxygen gas and residual fuel gas generated by the fuel cell 1 are effectively utilized for power generation. |
