PURPOSE:To obtain the subject gene useful to be integrated into an expression vector, etc., to form a vector for the production of lipase by extracting and purifying an mRNA from a lipase-producing cell of Ceotrichum candidum and cloning a lipase gene with the mRNA. CONSTITUTION:An expression vector is prepared by integrating a lipase cDNA into a vector of E.coli, yeast, Bacillus subtilis, etc., and inserting a proper promoter to the upstream of the cDNA. The promoter is preferably tryptophan beta-galactosidase, alkaline phosphatase, etc., for E.coli, acidic phosphatase, alcohol dehydrogenase, etc., for yeast and alpha-amylase, protease, etc., for Bacillus subtilis. A cultured cell such as COS cell may be used as the host. |
