PURPOSE:To easily discriminate individual identification information (individual ID code) as an extension number when a radio telephone set is used as an extension telephone set by informing the individual identification information to a user only for the prescribed time at the application of power of the radio telephone set. CONSTITUTION:The subject system is constituted of a master set 1 and plural radio telephone sets (2-1)-(2-n) and the master set 1 is connected to a private branch exchange 5 via a wired telephone circuit 4. The radio telephone set 2 has a ROM 33 storing a system ID code and an individual ID code assigned to its own station. When power is applied to the control circuit 26 of a radio telephone set, ID code presence information representing whether or not the system ID code and the individual ID code are stored in the ROM 33 is read from the ROM 33 and in the absence of the ID code, the circuit 26 is in standby for off power. In the case of the presence of the ID code, the system ID code and the individual ID code for its own station are read from the ROM 33 and a light emitting diode 31 is blinked by the number of times corresponding to the individual ID code to inform the individual ID code and the outgoing/ incoming call standby state is attained. |
