A lock comprises a handle (3), which is pivotable between inner and outer end positions, and a plunger element (2) articulated to the handle and reciprocable, by pivotal movement of the handle, between a locking position, in which it cooperates with an abutment (8), and an opening position, in which no such cooperation occurs. By means of a second articulation (11) spaced from the articulation (10) of the plunger element (2), the handle (3) is pivotally connected to a link (4) which is pivotable about a third articulation (12) and connected to the plunger element by means of a flexible tension element (14) which, when the link is pivoted outwards from an initial position, entrains the plunger element (2) towards the opening position from which the plunger element is again movable towards the locking position by pivotal movement of the handle (3) towards its inner end position. |
