PURPOSE:To easily execute preservation of a hydrogen storage alloy in a low cost by mixing water soluble powder body with the hydrogen storage alloy powder and preserving this in a closed vessel. CONSTITUTION:The water soluble powder body is mixed or laminated with the hydrogen storage alloy powder and charged into a closed vessel under condition of coating the surface of the alloy particles and preserved. Then, the hygroscopic powder body of calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, etc., are preferably used for the water soluble powder body and at the time of using after preserving, the soluble powder body is dissolved with water and separated and removed. By this method, prevention to deterioration of the hydrogen storage alloy powder caused by oxidation can be easily executed in the low cost. |
