PURPOSE: To provide a capillary tube without hitch to the operations of electrophoresis by burning and removing a polymer coating layer in contact with a heating wire from the main body of a capillary tube with the heating wire. CONSTITUTION: A switch 14 is thrown to pass a current in a predetermined voltage for a predetermined time through a heating wire 20 and heat the heating wire to a predetermined temperature. The polymer coating section of a capillary tube CC mounted on the middle part 44 of the heating wire 20 melts by the heat of the heating wire 20, and the outer surface of the capillary tube CC is exposed in window W form. As the size of the window W part to be formed is determined by the predetermined correlations among the gage of the heating wire 20, heating time and current passing through the heating wire 20, the same size of window parts can be accurately formed to any of a plurality of capillary tubes. |
