<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a food container capable of preventing or controlling uneven heating in heating food by microwave radiation by a method wherein the container is divided into two compartments by a microwave transmitting intermediate partition: a lower compartment where solid food such as rice, noodle, etc., is contained, and an upper compartment where solid or fluid food, which is transformed into fluid state as temperature rises by heating, is contained. CONSTITUTION:Curry sauce B is pressed toward a lower compartment 1 as the pressure in an upper compartment 2 rises due to steam generated from curry sauce B, and an intermediate partition 3 is spherically protruded toward the lower compartment, so that the curry sauce B is forcibly extruded into the lower compartment 1 through a hole 4 of the intermediate partition 3. When heating by microwave is continued further, steam generated from rice A enters the upper compartment 2 through the hole 4, and the upper compartment 2 expands further as the pressure in the upper compartment becomes higher. As a result, the curry sauce B is satisfactory heated and cooked, quickly flows down into the lower compartment 1, and spreads over the rice A under cooking.</p> |
