PURPOSE:To simplify a fail-safe device by applying the constitution wherein an alarm means for each of two control mechanisms is made to operate via the selection of an abnormal state influencing the two control mechanisms upon occurrence of the abnormal state in a sensor or control system. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle equipped with at least two control mechanisms A and B capable of sharing a part of plural sensors and yet making different control as in a drive power distribution control mechanism and an antiskid control mechanism, a common control means C for controlling both control mechanisms A and B is provided. Also, there are provided the first abnormality detection means D for detecting the first abnormality in the sensors for each of the control mechanisms A and B in common, and the control system, and the second abnormality detection means E for detecting the second abnormality in the sensors partilcular to each of the mechanisms A and B, and the control system. Furthermore, when the first abnormality is detected, separate alarm means G and H are actuated with an alarm selector means F. Also, when the second abnormality is detected, an alarm means G or H for the corresponding mechanism A or B is actuated. |
