A push brake for trailers comprises a two-part draw bar 1,7 which, upon braking of the towing vehicle, will be relatively displaced so that the total length of the draw bar is reduced. This relative displacement is used to activate the brake of the trailer. According to the invention, the two bar parts 1,7 bear one against the other by virtue of ball bearings 12,15, which have bearing axles perpendicular one to the other and perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of the bar parts 1,7. The friction is thereby reduced to such an extent that it is safely possible to construct the brake force transmission path 7,3,4,17 with servo effect. <IMAGE> |
