<p>PURPOSE: To keep a container tamper-evident again after the container is reclosed by providing a first tamper-evident means between two members on the container, and forming an engaging means provided on one member as a second tamper-evident means at a second position to be connected to the other member. CONSTITUTION: When a lid is opened for the first time, and a male-lock member 24 is held and pulled upward, a lock arm 28 is broken, and a broken piece is left behind in a groove 22 in an engaged condition. When the lid is reclosed again, a lock element 25 is pivotably turned around a hinge 27 to bring the lock arm 26 at the vertically extended position. Then, a cap 6 is pivotably turned around a hinge 8, to snap-fit the arm 26 in a groove 20. When the lid is opened again, and the male-lock member 24 is pulled upward, the lock element 25 is broken along the hinge 27, and the lock element 25 is left behind in the groove 20 in an engaged condition. When the lid is completely removed from a bin 40 in the second tamper-evident condition, the downward force is applied to the cap 6, a flange 2 is broken along a vertically weakened line 10, and other parts of the flange 2 can be easily removed.</p> |
