PURPOSE:To easily form a part having extremely different grain size by seeding a porcelain formed body with fine ceramic grains, burning the above formed body, and producing a region having a grain size larger than that of a ceramic matrix phase. CONSTITUTION:Fine ceramic grains 2 are seeded in the proper position of a porcelain formed body 1. Subsequently, the formed body 1 is brought into point contact with the grains 2 free from melting at the burning temp. of the porcelain formed body and the surface energy at the contact point is increased, by which liquid-phase components are alloyed to occur at low temp. Then, burning is applied to the above formed body to actively carry out abnormal grain growth. By this method, a region 4 having a grain size larger than that of a ceramic matrix phase 3 is formed. |
