PURPOSE:To inform passengers of the boarding rate of an incoming electric car for enabling the easy selection of a less crowded electric car by measuring and transmitting the boarding rate of each car unit, and receiving and displaying the rate at the next station. CONSTITUTION:When the door of an electric car closes at one station 1, a current boarding rate in each car unit is calculated with a measuring instrument 4 on the basis of a ratio of car's own weight to the car with a 100% boarding rate. The calculated boarding rate is sent as information from a transmitter 5 to a transmission line 3. On the other hand, the transmitted information is received by a receiver 6 installed at the next station 2. Furthermore, a boarding rate per car unit moving from the station 1 to the station 2 is extracted on the basis of the information received. Also, the extracted boarding rate is displayed on a plurality of displays 8a and 8b respectively. According to the aforesaid construction, passengers at the next station 2 can easily and accurately confirm an extent of crowdedness in each car unit. |
