Dispenser of predetermined doses of a liquid or pasty product, in particular of a food or cosmetic product, contained in a closed reserve connecting with the dispenser. According to the invention, this dispenser is characterised in that it comprises a transverse support 10 receiving a shell 15 forming with the support a clearance 14 respectively connecting with an inlet duct 34 connected to the inside of the reserve 3 of the product 2 to be dispensed and with an outlet duct 35, these ducts being provided with reverse-mounted valves 49, 50 such that one is open when the other is closed and vice-versa, the clearance 14 being connected to a cavity 21 inside the shell in which is mounted a piston 26 sliding in such a way that its displacement in one direction causes the opening of the valve 49 mounted in the inlet duct 34 and the filling of the cavity by drawing in a dose of product equal to the volume displaced by the piston, and that the return displacement in the opposite direction of the piston expels the drawn-in dose through the outlet duct 35. <IMAGE>
