Bed gate locking device whose structure is that of a deformable parallelogram. This device is composed of two main parts 3, 4 that can be locked together and unlocked by means of a spring action system. The device is characterised in that the spring action system consists of a spring-loaded catch 5 which is carried by one of the two parts 3, 4 and can move in a generally transverse direction X-X', this catch 5 being designed to enter, and lock in, a hole 31 formed in the other main part 4, 3, and in that it comprises manual releasing means in the form of a push button 30 which when moved transversely from the exterior towards the interior of the bed pushes back said spring-loaded catch 5 under the effect of a force whose line of action substantially coincides with the path X-X' of the catch 5 in order to repel it from the hole 31. <IMAGE> |
