NEW Electrostatic treatment of crude potassium salts prior to separation by the known method comprises treating the salts with dehydrated kieserite and with a fatty acid as a chemical conditioning agent, and separating a K2O-contg. concentrate and a residue at a low temp. and pref. a relative humidity of 5-30%, esp. 20%.
