PURPOSE: To catch a front landing device surely by swinging freely a nest type rod whose tip is provided with the drawing arm and a front wheel holding body provided on the notch of the chassis of a tow car for accommodating the front landing device of an airplane by a common cylinder device. CONSTITUTION: In this airplane tow car, turnable two front wheels 12 are supported on the front part 10.1 of a chassis 10 and also a machine room 16 is arranged and drivable rear wheels 20 are provided on right/left half bodies 10.2.1, 10.2.2 of the rear part of the chassis 10. An elevating blade 24 is provided on the rear end of the front part 10.1 of the chassis and this elevating blade 24 can roll the front landing device of the airplane on the frame of the elevating blade 24 in the state contacted to the travelling road of the tractor. A pair of right and left nest type rods 30 swingable by a cylinder device 42 are pivoted to the front part 10.1 of the chassis and also the cylinder device 36 for moving the front wheel holding body 34 arranged in the notch 26 of the chassis to the rearside is provided swingably around the pivot shaft 40 as well as the nest type rod 30.
