PURPOSE:To save the memory capacity of the present equipment and to shorten the data transfer time by storing a split data packet element to the memory of a host equipment and the memory of the present equipment individually and combining the element read from each memory. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is constituted of a main memory 7 storing a large data block, a packet transmission section 1 editing and sending 1st and the 2nd parts of plural data blocks being the division of the large data block transferred from the host equipment based on a DMA address, a transmission buffer memory 4 storing the 1st part tentatively and an address conversion table 2 converting each DMA address into the address of the main memory 7 and the address of the transmission buffer memory 4 one by one. A data control section 3 extracts the 2nd part from the transmission buffer memory 4 and the 1st part from the main memory 7 based on the address of the main memory 7 and the address of the transmission buffer memory 4 obtained by giving the DMA address to the table 2 and gives them to the packet transmission section 1. |
