The displaying and dispensing device is intended for articles or products contained in packs or packages of geometrical shape. This displaying and dispensing device consists of elementary units 2 with means 3, 4, 5 for supporting and guiding articles 1 arranged in a row, and with a sliding push member 6 which pushes against the last article. The push member 6 is driven forwards by a helical spring 9, acting under traction, which connects this push member 6 to a fixed point 13 via a pulley 11. The articles 1 are thus pushed forwards with an approximately constant force, the first article being arrested by a stop piece 7.
