The invention relates to the fabrication of electrodes intended to be incorporated into fuel cells, using an electrode support made of a metal foam. In order to fill said foam with an active mass of catalyst and hydrophobic organic binder, a pulverous mixture of said catalyst and of said organic binder, in the form of continuous laminated sheets, is made. At least one such sheet is placed on at least one of the support's surfaces, and then subjected, while on said support, to pressure in order to make it penetrate the support pores, over the greater part of its thickness. |
