Screwed implant for jaw bone - made of specified material and with specified thread and curled neck
摘要
The Parent Patent described a screwed implant (1) for a jaw-bone which is made-preferably of a titanium alloy and coated on its surface by titanium oxide according to ASTM F86-68. The compression thread (2) has concave teeth (3) and is joined by a shoulder (4) to a neck, designed as a bending zone (6) with a radius of curvature (rB) of 2-3 mm. A cone (7) continues up to the four flats (8) on the spherical head (9). The ratio of the diameter of the zone (6) to its straight length should be 1:1.5 to 1:3 (1:2.6). The radius (rG) should equal h/2. ADVANTAGE - This D/L ratio of the bending zone was found to result in a better alignment and a bend limited to the gum region.
