PURPOSE:To deform a pattern to an optional form by giving deformed frame information and deformation coordinate system information, and deforming an original pattern so as to put original patterns such as characters along the deformed frame according to the deformation coordinate system. CONSTITUTION:When the deformed frame information and the deformation coordinate system information after deformation is given from an input device 3, a CPU 1 execute processing in accordance with software in a main memory 2. This software normalizes the size of the deformed frame along a designated coordinate system by judging from the size of an original pattern frame, and performs the allocation of original pattern information to the normalized deformation coordinate system. Thus, when the deformed frame information is given, the original pattern is deformed along the deformed frame, and the designing pattern is formed. |
