PURPOSE:To reproduce substantial sound field at recording by recording a sound field control data set corresponding to the condition of a listening environment onto a subcode of a CD or the like and adding the sound field component based on the sound control data to a CD player. CONSTITUTION:Sound control data set corresponding to the condition of the listening environment reproducing the sound field component added at reproduction is recorded to an idle bit of a subcode of a CD 1. Moreover, the CD player in use is provided with a head (optical pickup) 2 reading data recorded on the CD 1, an environment setting switch 3, a decoder the readout data, a sub decoder 5 decoding the sound field control data, a digital signal processor 6 applying prescribed processing to a digital signal decoded by the decoder 4, a sound field component output circuit 7 outputting an indirect sound component and echo sound component as the sound field component and an addition circuit 8 adding an output of the sound field component output circuit 7 to the output of the DSP 6. Thus, the sound field is reproduced simply. |
