发明名称 Boosting compensating pressure between test medium - and reference electrode, by auxiliary hydrostatic difference
摘要 Analytical measurements on liq. travelling in a conduit (e.g.1) are made by an inserted ref. electrode (2) or a corresp. bar element supplied with electrolyte from a supply (5) below a gas cushion (6). Contamination of the sepg. diaphragm by expelled electrolyte is countered by pressure difference applied between test liq. and electrolyte. In addn. to pressure from the test liq. auxiliary pressure is derived hydrostatically from the height difference below the upper boundary between the electrolyte and its gas cushion (6), and the lower boundary (8) between test liq. medium (9) in a side chamber and its gas cushion (10). Enclosed gas is compressed by the test medium, and itself transfers pressure. Alternatively a pre-compressed gas charge is used, or pressure applied by a floating piston subjected to pressure from both involved media. ADVANTAGE - A simpler method than known use of pre-stressed bellows.
