<p>PURPOSE:To cancel the erroneous measurement of blood pressure caused by noise by determining the peak blood pressure value and/or average blood pressure value of an organ based on the waveform change of a central side beating tone to be detected by a central side beating tone detecting means. CONSTITUTION:From the change in the waveform of the central side beating tone detected by any one of piezoelectric sheets 18, 20 and 22 which are arranged in the central side end part of a cuff 10, the peak blood pressure value and average blood pressure value are determined. Only when the blood pressure value is not different from the blood pressure value determined based on a Korotkoff tone detected by piezoelectric sheets 24, 26 and 28 in a center in the breadwise direction of the cuff 10, the blood pressure is displayed on a display 48. Thus, by comparing the blood pressure value, which is determined based on the waveform change of the central side beating tone, with the blood pressure value determined based on the Korotkoff tone, the possibility of the blood pressure measuring value based on the korotkoff tone is determined. Then, since the reliability of the measured value is improved, it can be canceled that the erroneous blood pressure measurement is executed by the noise of the same frequency component as the Korotkoff tone or the noise generated in the same period of the Korotkoff tone.</p> |
