<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous alarm by providing a threshold setting circuit to determine the optimum threshold coefficient regardless of a change in mode. CONSTITUTION:An output of a receiver 1 is converted 2 into a digital signal and inputted into a pulse Doppler filter 3, an output of which is inputted into a detection control circuit 4 and a fixed erroneous alarm probability circuit 8. Then, the circuit 4 controls information pertaining to a change in mode together with information of the filter 3 based on information of a mode detection control circuit 5 when the mode changes and outputs information necessary for the setting of the optimum threshold coefficient for the mode after the change. At the same time, it outputs timing information of a receiving trigger to a timing memory circuit 7. Then, the threshold coefficient set with the circuit 6 is inputted into the circuit 8 with the circuit 7 matching the subsequent trigger and a threshold calculated based on an output of the filter 3 and a distance-wise average moving value is compared with a threshold level signal multiplied by the threshold coefficient. The signal beyond the level signal is regarded as target thereby enabling detection of the number of targets separated from an undesired signal.</p> |
