<p>PURPOSE:To integrally and mechanically perform each operation of the subject process in aseptic state by providing a means for carrying out the operations such as extraction and cutting, transfer, implantation, etc., of shoot apex. CONSTITUTION:When an explant containing a shoot apex tissue having strong self-regenerative action is detected from a plant body by a detection means 2, the explant is extracted by an extraction and feeding means 3 and supplied to a conveyor 4. The cutting position of the explant moving on the conveyor is detected by a cutting-position detection means 5 and a slice is cut with a cutting edge 29 of a cutting means 6. An implantation piece is prepared from the slice by a preparation means 7 and placed on a medium by an implantation means.</p> |
