DATA COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: To minimize the loss of antinoise capability which is generated with introduction of secondary data by sending alternately two groups due to existence of secondary data. CONSTITUTION: A secondary data source 102 generates various diagnostic and/or maintenance signals. Sent bits are receiving by a transmitter 10 from a primary data source 101 and gathered in 28 groups, each group is given grid-shaped codes of 8-dimensional channel symbols selected out of a specific signal group and 1st and 2nd 8-dimensional signal groups are used for transmitting only the primary data and both of the primary and secondary data. A secondary channel synchronizer 150 maintains synchronism of a secondary data source 102 and operations of an 8D block encoder 126 and a channel coder 132 are combined individually, so that the primary data are transmitted repeatedly with accompanying or without accompanying the secondary data. Consequently the loss of antinoise capability can be minimized.
