PURPOSE:To provide the above printing plate which exhibits the excellent developability to a developing soln. essentially consisting of alkaline water and has excellent plate wear by using a high-polymer compd. contg. a specific structural unit as a high-polymer compd. CONSTITUTION:The high-polymer compd. of the lithographic printing plate formed by providing a photosensitive layer consisting of a diazonium resin and the high-polymer compd. on an aluminum sheet which is subjected to a sand dressing and anodic oxidation treatment contains the structural unit expressed by formula I. In the formula I, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group; R2 and R3 respectively denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group; R4 denotes a carboxyl group, carboxylate group, sulfonic acid group, sulfonate group; m denotes 1 to 3 integer; n denotes 0 to 4 integer; Z denotes -O-, -NH-.
