PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of splashing and fogging even if continuous copying of a color original having a large image area is executed and to obtain good images even under a high humidity by using the developer having a toner contg. a quinacridone pigment and xanthne dye and specific carrier particles. CONSTITUTION:This developer has the toner contg. the quinacridone pigment and the xanthene dye and the carrier particles. The average grain size of the carrier particles is 20 to 60mu, the content of the fine powder of <=350 mesh is <=30wt.%, the content of superfine powder of <=400 mesh is <=20wt.%, the content of coarse powder of >=250 mesh is <=10wt.%, and the saturation magnetization to the impressed magnetic field of 3,000 oersted is 55 to 75emu/g; in addition, the residual magnetization and coercive force are respectively <=10emu/g and <=10 oersted, respectively. The splashing and fogging are obviated even if the continuous copying of the color original having a large image area is executed. The excellent images are obtd. even under the high humidity. |
